The American Democracy Legal Fund is a new organization established to hold candidates for office accountable for possible ethics and/or legal violations. Although the group is not largely public-facing, and instead focuses on filing FEC complaints and earned media coverage, it needed a logo and brand standards. The initial challenge for this client was to create a logo that appeared political, but not partisan, and spelled out the full name of the organization while also including an identifiable icon.
Given 24 hours, I produced a logo for ADLF that would be unique and identifiable, while also being adaptable to print and digital use. The logo comes in a horizontal and vertical format and includes an identifiable icon for use as a digital favicon or on legal documents. This logo has helped ADLF achieve its goals by giving the new organization a professional and established visual identity.
